“Progressive Folk and Blues laced with an eclectic blend of Celtic, Americana and World influences.”

“Raw authentic lyrics, exquisite harmonies, and well-honed finger-style acoustic guitar presented with passion and humor.” Original tunes and obscure covers.

Maury Manseau (pronounced Man-so) developed a love for the rich American folk music traditions with his friends Jackson Browne, Gregg and Duane Allman and Steve Gillette.  He had his first of three Top 50 recording hits in 1967 with his band, “The Sunshine Company,” and he is known for his exquisitely crafted lyrics, fine singing and well-honed refined finger-style guitar playing.  He credits Hoyt Axton for teaching him not to take himself too seriously, and believes that music is a great way to connect people “soul to soul, spirit to spirit.”

Cheri Buonaguidi (pronounced Sherry Bone-uh-gwee-dee) developed a love for folk music and blues from her father.  She studied classical voice, sang in madrigal groups and choirs, and then moved into folk, blues and other world genres with influences including Joni Mitchell, Loreena McKennitt, Habib Koite, Kelly Joe Phelps, Bonnie Raitt and Shawn Colvin.  Her unique vocal style and unusually creative harmonies contribute to the soulful collaboration she shares with Maury Manseau.  Their songs and exquisite vocal blend express the joys, passions and challenges of human existence and current times with raw authenticity, humor and heart.
