Child Parent Institute (formerly California Parenting Institute): 585-6108 x 1101.  Counsels children 0-18 who have experienced abuse, trauma, behavioral & socio-economic challenges. Parenting classes & supervised visits.   • Deliver documents to inmates to be notarized or that require Proof of Service
    Take checks or documents to inmates to sign
    Cash inmates’ checks
    Provide information & assistance regarding visiting rules, correctional facility procedures & related information
    Provide community resource information & referrals
    Forward critical messages from visitors & callers to inmates
    Offer reading glasses & glasses cases to purchase for inmates
    Arrange book purchases for inmates
    Provide clothes & shoes to visitors to pass jail security
    Provide reading books & coloring books for visitors’ children while waiting in lobby

Mobile Supportive Services (MSS): 474-3130. Helps homeless families and those at risk of becoming homeless throughout Sonoma County. Free & confidential. Assists people transitioning into or out of housing. Can meet at client’s location to ease transportation and childcare issues. Provides ongoing case management services. 1275 4th St. #303 (map)
